I have always loved the games by Activision. I believe that Activision games are best games in the 2600's library. The four games that were released by Absolute Entertainment "followed the footsteps" of Activision games. They consisted of the same "high quality" style of game. And there is a reason for this: Absolute Entertianment was formed by four ex-Activision employees: Dan and Gary Kitchen, Alex Demeo (interviewed in issue 5 of the 2600 Connection), and David Crane. The company was based on the East Coast, in New Jersey. Crane, who was interviewed in issue 12 of the 2600 Connection, remained on the West Coast and worked out of his home. The four games even followed the numbering scheme that Activision used.
